Left and right locking side rails for one seat, (wire connector clip #1349 sold separately).

Using the standard slider clip, the track width (bolt pattern) is approximately 12", with some variability options depending on which rail holes the clip is connected to. For narrower or wider applications, you can produce a custom clip. The purpose of the clip is to simultaneously allow the non-handled rail to also be disengaged by the rail with a handle, when repositioning the seat.

  • On each rail, the seat bolt holes are 11.5" center to center.
  • Slide travel is 7.5", with 15 incremental locking positions.
  • Each rail has two pre-installed threaded studs located 11" from the center of one bolt, to center of the other. These studs are 1" long and generally point downward to the mounting surface.
  • 15.75" = fully extended rail length (outer-most dimension), not including handle.
  • 22" = fully extended rail length (outer-most dimension), including the stock untrimmed handle.
  • 12.5" = fully retracted rail length (outer-most dimension while in center position), not including handle.
  • 18.75" = fully retracted rail length (outer-most dimension while in center position), including the stock untrimmed handle.

Both slider rails together weigh 3 lbs.

“…As I read the Electrathon Handbook (again for the 5th or so time), I still can’t believe that every high school in the nation with a decent CTE program isn’t just jumping at this opportunity.  I wish this stuff was happening when I was in high school! –Cory O. (a motivated High Shcool teacher in Oregon)

“Thank you so much, I proved that I can set some of the parameters in the controller, and I also found that my charger can also be programmed. I also learned a lot about "regen" and some of the issues. Did you know that "regen" is pretty much useless immediately after the batteries have been charged? They can't take any significant current until they have been discharged a little. Without your loaner batteries, I never would have known that."
–Larry W., regarding a 1997 Solectra he just purchased to restore.

"Thank you so much, I can't wait to share this information with my students on Monday"
-John F., after we posted DESTINY Streamliner dimensions and pictures at his request.
